LESSON 6

Space, Buildings & Maps

In this module we focus on how to make use of readily available secondary as well as interactive digital environments for our research.
Students will experiment in managing information from large sources, and compiling data that is relevant and to the point.
In an era of information overload, researchers must actively navigate among heterogeneous platforms and overwhelming data.
This module is intended thus as a key to grasp and distill the relevant knowledge, often implicit and passively taken for granted in a globalised world.

Lesson 6: About

Lesson 6

Responsible Policy needs to address the data  available in different contexts. The best practice for young responsible researchers is to access and interpret all the potential sources of relevant information in order to create an all-inclusive policy proposal. Internet digital footprints and traditional media, as well as big data arising from the usage of the internet of things, are new, under-addressed sources where students will learn to find critical resources.
